Use this tool to remove VBA passwords from Excel files (.xlsm, .xlsb). Follow the steps to unlock and access your VBA code.

Show Instructions

  1. Right-click the downloaded file and select "Properties".
  2. Check "Unblock" under the General tab, then click "Apply" and "OK".
  3. Open the file in Excel.
  4. If the Developer Tab is not visible:
    • Go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon.
    • Check the "Developer" checkbox and click "OK".
  5. To access the VBA Editor:
    • Go to the Developer Tab and click "Visual Basic".
    • In the VBA Editor, go to Tools > VBAProject Properties.
    • In the Protection tab, uncheck "Lock project for viewing".
    • Click "OK".
  6. You can now view and edit the VBA code without a password.
