Know a Renown Nurse for procuring Abortion in Katakwi and Amuria

A practicing Nurse operating a clinic in Ajenebukui trading Center, Akoboi sub county Katakwi district has been lashed over 10 canes of strokes over allegations that he procures abortion in their locality.

Katakwi Nurse Lashed Ten Canes of Strokes over Accusations of Procuring Abortion.

 Katakwi- A practicing Nurse  operating a clinic in Ajenebukui trading Center, Akoboi sub county Katakwi district re known for its sinful acts of aiding abortion has been lashed over 10 canes of strokes over allegations that he procures abortion in their locality.

Emmanuel Elepu Opio, a resident of Wera , Amuria district was handled by the committee of Ajenebukui trading center led by Chairman Eriya Ochom after suspicions that he was aiding Beatrice Acori to abort at his clinic .

The circulation within the trading center and prompting locals around the center to raise annoyance saying many suspicions of abortion in Opio’s clinic has been witnessed.

Cyrus Egelat a resident of Ajenebukui was disgruntled on the act condemning it as barbaric, he said after Opio was lashed with over 10 canes of strokes and interrogation Opio acknowledged of the act.

Egela explained that the act came to the spotlight after patients saw a woman battling with pain after some time in order to abort pregnancy at his clinic.

He also disclosed that Opio’s act is evidenced being chased from areas of Ariamiriam in Toroma , Omagoro and Amekede trading centers over the same act.

Florence Akwi, a resident of Awanyagola, testified naming Beatrice Amuto of Akoboi village, Jane Atim and most recently Beatrice Acor as some of the women this nurse has aided abortion.

Cyrus Koluo , the LC One Ajenebukui village says their  committee has sat to establish the facts over the matter but they are challenged since there is no evidence to prove the allegations.

He says they have agreed to give the victim to complete his 6 month rent as he will vanish from the area.

Emmanuel Elepu Opio, the accused denied being involved in such an act saying he respects the ethical code of conduct of medical professionals.

According to him, since residents have failed to prove him guilty, he has felt lenient asking them to treat him for the injuries of canes.

But Simon Peter Okwakol, the LC one Awanyagola Village also chairman LC ones Dadas Parish cautions on the act by medics procuring abortion. He says this disobeys the Gods commandment of murder and is also criminal according to the constitutions of Uganda.

Okwakol urged women to desist from the act of aborting pregnancy because it’s abominable, a sin before God and also puts them at stake of losing lives.

He advises fellow men to accompany their women to any sick bay whenever they are sick of any illness especially when expecting to avoid such deeds.
